Canigao Island, a little paradise which is the best place to go if you happen to visit the province of Leyte. The island is surrounded with white sand and clear sea water which you can stroll and go swimming. The island or islet is so small that you can explore it in less than 30 minutes. Vegetations on the island serves as sheds against th intense heat of the sun. It is a very relaxing place. The island is inhabited, there are no power and water source so before going to the place make sure you bring with you a plenty of water and your gadgets were fully charged or have an extra battery. Souvenirs for sale are also available on the island.

SM City Cebu. From Tagbilaran City, Bohol, I need to stopover in Cebu going to my next destination, Leyte.   I arrived here at around 1230. Since the scheduled boarding time to the Supercat fastcraft to Ormoc City was 430 pm, I decided spend my waiting time and to take my lunch as well in SM Cebu. These images of some of my gadgets were taken from the table of the foodcourt of the mall as I am taking my meal.

The Island of Siquijor. Contrary on what the island has been tagged as, Siquijor is a very beautiful island. Surrounded with white beaches, green vegetations, historic structures and fascinating scenery of nature. As observed, Siquijor is one of the undisturbed nature in the Philippines and should remain as that. Less pollution of the island is due to limited number of vehicles, not very much populated and industrialized area and the attitude of Its people to protect the nature. Life is very simple in this island. A very suitable place to unwind due to its tranquility and being close to nature.

Green, full of life-These are the scenery you will see if you happen to visit the Land of Mangyans in Mindoro Occidental. These sights are very pleasing to the eyes and...nose? Yes, this place is very pleasing to the nose since this is very far from any cities, far from industrialized zones where the air is very much polluted that if you breath, half of what you inhaled is dirt. Pollution created by man and industrialization. Here, you can breath fresh air.

This place is also pleasing to the ears. No extra noise. You can only hear the blowing of the breeze and rustling of leaves in the trees. Unlike in the cities that are full of unwanted sounds from vehicles and humans as well.

This is the Alona Beach in the Island of Panglao, Bohol. The name of the beach was originated from the famous sexy star of the 70's and 80's, Alona Alegre. In 1973, the film " Esteban" was shoot here on this island which stars the late Fernando Poe Jr. and with Alona Alegre as his leading lady. Since then, the beach where Alona ran naked was named after her.
White sand beach awaits you here. There are anchored boats ready if you want to go dolphin watching in the nearby island. Like in Boracay, night life is also very active in here. Most of the people who went here are "nocturnal". Theyare more active at night than day. Different kind of bars are present on the place, from expensive to less expensive, from native to imported menus and different kind of alcoholic drinks. There are also live bands performing every night and disco until dawn.

Aside from the famous "floating restaurant" and Tarsiers, one of the tourist destinations in the town of Loboc, Bohol is the Butterfly Sanctuary. Here you can find several kinds of butterfly of different sizes and colors. Crews in the sanctuary not only tour you to see butterflies but at the same time they give lectures on how butterflies are being formed (metamorphosis), how long do they live, difference between moth and butterfly, difference between male and female butterflies and many more information regarding butterflies.

It is a good thing to know that there are places like this, which serves not only for sight-seeing but educational as well.

During our visit on a remote part of Dhaka in Bangladesh these children caught my attention. As our guide was busy in the discussion of the subject I was also very busy watching the children playing in the swamp. The scenario reminds me of my three kids back home. It reminds me how they play, teasing each other, enjoying the times when I'm home. This triggers my "homesickness".
On that very time, I would like to go home at once but it is just our third day in Bangla. We were scheduled for a nine day-exposure training and tour in Singapore. So it is impossible to go home that time. If only I can drag the time faster..
