BUTTERFLY SACNTUARY AT LOBOC, BOHOL

Aside from the famous "floating restaurant" and Tarsiers, one of the tourist destinations in the town of Loboc, Bohol is the Butterfly Sanctuary. Here you can find several kinds of butterfly of different sizes and colors. Crews in the sanctuary not only tour you to see butterflies but at the same time they give lectures on how butterflies are being formed (metamorphosis), how long do they live, difference between moth and butterfly, difference between male and female butterflies and many more information regarding butterflies.

It is a good thing to know that there are places like this, which serves not only for sight-seeing but educational as well. 

It only takes about 1 hour from Tagbilaran City going to Loboc.
